Looking for an Alternative Medicine for Cancer? If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with cancer, you may be wondering if there are any effective alternative medicines for cancer available. While an allopathic physician can advise you on forms of traditional treatment such as chemotherapy, radiation, surgery or prescription drugs, you may be left on your own to research the types of alternative treatments that are accessible. However, even if you turn to natural medicines, strongly consider maintaining your traditional treatment for its full duration for maximum benefit. One can't dispute that fact that cancer is one of the most devasting diseases facing us today. Odds are that you or a close friend or family member will develop cancer at some time during your lives. As our population begins to include more older individuals, we are seeing this terrible illness become more and more commonplace. Things as basic as the air we breathe or the beverages we drink have been shown to contribute to cancer rates in some manner. At this time, there is a certain herbal formula which is one of the most popular alternative medicines for cancer. Similar remedies have been used throughout the Far East for centuries. They are said to work with your body to prevent the spread of cancer and to strengthen the cells' natural healing processes. The specific remedy we refer to is called Essiac. This product is made from a mix of herbs such as burdock root, sheep sorrel, slippery elm and turkey rhubarb. The ingredients in Essiac are not really that rare or expensive. Rather, they are simple, everday plants that are said to possess some pretty amazing abilities when properly combined. Essiac is said to be an ancient Canadian Ojibway Indian herbal formula that was given to a nurse named Rene Caisse. Essaic is her last name spelled backwards. It's been reported that some doctors were so impressed by the results the formula got in her clinic that in 1938 they petitioned the Canadian Government to pass a Bill to "authorize Rene Caisse to practice medicine in the Province of Ontario in the treatment of Cancer and conditions resulting there from". Unfortunately, the bill failed to pass by a few votes. If you're looking for a feasible alternative cancer medication, you would probably put Essaic high on your list, considering its low cost and easy availability.
